In the spring of 2016 I installed a pair of speaker stands in the corners of my studio, and the feeling of a nice place and a similar sound inspired me to come up with this music. That is why the song was given the working title "New S." (New Studio).
I then changed it into "New Edge".
For a long time there was a digital drum track underneath, but last fall Melle Rodewijk played this drum part.
